Milli has been bringing ‘Glamour to the Hammer’ since 1964. Now she is bringing it to the runway with a sneak peek from her archive in support of Good Shepherd and its sixth annual Glamour in the Hammer Fashion Show on Friday May 5.
Glamour in the Hammer showcases Hamilton’s very own fashion designers and top chefs in an evening highlighting unique style and flavours. This year they are adding a special element to the evening by celebrating Milli and her unparalleled influence on the fashion scene in Hamilton spanning more than five decades.
Milli put Hamilton on the fashion map with her iconic eye for style and a passion for discovering the newest, cutting edge designers from around the globe. Milli was always, and continues to be the go-to place for women of diverse lifestyles in search of distinctive and personalized fashion and exceptional customer service and experience.
The Milli Archive Project is connecting new and old customers alike. For 53 years Milli has been helping women look and feel their best. Loyal customers and friends of Milli are sharing their ‘Milli Must Haves’ from years gone by – fabulous dresses, accessories and unique pieces that have stood the test of time. These incredible items along with Milli moments, memories and photos have been donated to help establish the Milli Archive.
Good Shepherd is the largest social service agency in Hamilton. It provides a continuum of care that includes emergency food and clothing services, daily meals, emergency shelter for men, youth, women, children, families & young moms, education, mental health crisis support, affordable and supportive housing programs, and hospice palliative care. All services are provided free of charge and without judgment to anyone in need.
Come join us as we celebrate Milli, take a walk down memory lane and support Good Shepherd for an evening of Glamour in the Hammer.
