At Milli, we value our past just as much as our future. Milli would not be what it is today if it were not for our loyal clients allowing us to be a part of so many of their special moments. With the assistance of these clients, we have been able to build quite an extensive archive of Milli pieces and the captivating stories that go with them. With this being said, we are pleased to officially announce that this beautiful collection of memories will soon be on display for the public to enjoy at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

This historic and iconic exhibit, titled Five Decades of Milli – A Celebration of Style, will be on view in the Jean Ross & Fischer Gallery from September 8th through to November 12th. Thoughtfully curated by The Globe and Mail’s social columnist, Nolan Bryant, this exhibition will feature photographs of over 60 looks from inside the Milli vault, many of which will be on display for the lucky attendees to see for themselves. The pieces presented will date back to the early 60’s and will continue through the decades to now, juxtaposing Milli’s past with its present and celebrating the long future that is surely ahead.

Make sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for an exclusive look at our exciting journey leading up to the exhibit, as well as behind the scenes footage come early September. If you would like to be a part of what will be the Art Gallery of Hamilton’s first fashion exhibition since 2007/2008, it is not too late. There is still plenty of time to unearth your own Milli pieces and to contribute them to our collection – either by donating or loaning. Please contact Jane Apor at with any questions or contributions concerning the exhibition. Your involvement in any way is greatly appreciated. We can’t wait to commemorate Five Decades of Milli – A Celebration of Style with you!
